The investment potential of a predictive dialer depends on the
cost and increase in productivity.
Cost is measured in cost per telemarketer station. The costs can vary greatly ranging from $2000/station to over
$12,000/ station. The reason for the variance in cost is due mostly to the cost of the computer network
capabilities, if one is required. If a company requires a predictive dialer that fields in-bound calls and
has complex contact management, that company will be required to pay more for their system than a company
that is only interested in increasing their number of live connects per hour. The cost of a predictive
dialer is not directly proportional to the increase in productivity.
Remember that maintenance and training must be included
in your calculations. Quotes are generally provided on an equipment basis only,
excluding training costs, maintence costs, and installation costs. Watch
